Residential Children’s Worker – Agency | Caerphilly
Pay: £15–£17 per hour
Are you dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people? We are seeking an experienced Residential Children’s Worker to join our agency team in Caerphilly.
Role Overview
In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care, guidance, and emotional support to children and young people who may be facing challenging circumstances. Working within a residential setting, you will help promote positive outcomes, encourage personal growth, and support the development of healthy coping strategies and resilience. Your experience, commitment, and compassionate approach will play a vital role in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Requirements:
· At least 6 months proven UK experience working with at-risk children and young people
· Enhanced DBS check
· Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
· Ability to deliver individualised care plans and manage challenging behaviours
· Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
· Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
· Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (desirable)
