As part of the Data & Insight Team within the wider ICT Team,youllbe at the centre of how data is used to improve services and outcomes for customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insight, ensuring data integrity, and building data products that genuinely influence decision-making.Youllcollaborate closely with teams across Halton Housing, using data, analytics, and innovative thinking to solvereal businessproblems, support excellent customer service, and help deliver our vision of Improving Peoples Lives.
WhatYoullDo:
* Power BI;Coding DAX Measures and Dimensional Models.
* Developing & delivering visually compelling Power BI Dashboards & Reports to specification.
* Delivering data engineeringsolutions with Microsoft Fabric,SQLand Python.
* Developing & maintaining ETL pipeline solutions in Azure Data Factory, utilising Azure Data Lake &AzureDev Ops.
* Providingsecondandthird linesupport for Data Team and ownallocatedsupport tickets.
* Monitoring the Data Warehouse load and performance.
* Performing routine SQL Database Administration tasks.
* Providing high quality documentation on Data Engineering solutions & Insight Datasets.
* Developing and maintaining SSRS reports.
WhatYoullNeed:
* Demonstrable SQL experience (T-SQL, SSMS) with a good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
* Degree / professional qualification in a relevant business discipline and /or demonstrable experience in delivery in this area.
* Ability to follow defined processes and procedures inan accurateand consistent manner whilstmonitoringdata,identifyingtrends, problem solving and escalating where needed.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (desirable)
* Experience of working within a cloud computing environment (Azure preferable)
* Proven good customer service and communication skills (internal and external)demonstratingunderstanding and support whilst handling/resolvingdifficult situationsor conflict.
* A good working knowledge and/or understanding of relevant legislation and regulation in IT.
* A good wider understanding of and interest in - technology and trends.
