Role Summary
Draig Therapeutics is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support our Research & Development (R&D) team. This Cardiff-based role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working independently. Biotech experience is not required—what matters most is a 'can-do' attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
This role will report into the Operations Manager - R&D.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting & Scheduling Support
* Support scheduling and logistics for project-related meetings, including booking rooms and organising catering as required
Contract Administration
* Support contract administration related to project vendors and collaborators by routing documents for signature and maintaining status records.
Project Tracking & Coordination
* Track operational project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
* Distribute operational updates and reminders to project teams to maintain alignment and momentum.
Onboarding & Partner Support
* Facilitate onboarding of new team members and external partners by preparing system access and documentation relevant to projects.
Archiving
* Serve as an appointed Archivist, overseeing the organisation and accessibility of project documentation.
Ad Hoc Administrative Support
* Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks—such as expense processing—to support seamless project operations or providing support to external consultants
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confidence using digital tools such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking and document formatting.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines with minimal supervision.
* A proactive approach to identifying issues and maintaining project momentum.
* Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive documentation and supporting external consultants.
* Adaptability and willingness to take on varied administrative tasks as needed.
* No prior biotech experience is required, but a willingness to learn and engage with scientific teams is essential.
