Key Responsibilities: Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEMH needs Assisting pupils with emotional regulation, communication and behaviour strategies Building trusting, consistent relationships to promote engagement and resilience Working closely with teachers, behaviour mentors and pastoral staff Supporting personalised learning plans and adapting resources where necessary Encouraging positive routines, attendance and a readiness to learn Promoting a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Ideal Candidates Will Have: A patient, empathetic and positive approach Strong communication and de-escalation skills Experience in SEMH, mental health support, youth work or related roles (desirable but not essential) A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
