We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Group Accountant to join our existing team in Leeds. The Role: Supporting the Group Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records and maintain an environment of strong financial control Responsibilities: Treasury management including downloading daily statements, creating and monitoring payments, responding to banking queries Accurate and timely completion of bank reconciliations each month on WD1 Maintaining cash records to facilitate cash flow forecasting Recording cash and bank transactions in accounting software Petty cash management including monthly reconciliations and posting transactions Administration of company credit cards, fuel cards and hotel cards. Downloading statements, ensuring all expenditure is receipted and correctly posted to the ledger, aged items concluded in a timely manner, administering user accounts.
