We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Wholesale Finance team, supporting the Roaming and Interconnect area of the business. This role sits at the centre of a fast‑paced and commercially important function, helping to manage the financial performance of roaming services across Vodafone and Three.
You’ll work closely with commercial, operational and finance stakeholders to support forecasting, reporting, billing and analysis activities that directly influence the Roaming P&L. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their finance business partnering skills while gaining exposure to a highly analytical and commercially focused environment.
What you’ll do
* Support month end activities across roaming inbound revenue and outbound costs, including variance analysis, reporting and commentary
* Consolidate roaming financial results across Vodafone and Three and support reporting into FP&A teams
* Assist with rolling forecasts, weekly outlooks and budget submissions, ensuring assumptions are accurate and aligned
* Support the preparation of forecasting packs and finance system uploads
* Work with group entities including VRS and CK Hutchison to understand roaming rates, volumes and commercial performance drivers
* Produce roaming price books for MVNO partners
* Support regulatory and central reporting requirements, including OFCOM submissions
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and systems support to wider commercial and operational teams
* Build strong relationships across finance and non‑finance stakeholders to support informed commercial decision‑making
* Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, processes and ways of working
Who you are
* Part‑qualified accountant working towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
* Strong Excel capability including pivot tables, lookups, filters and chart creation
* Comfortable working with large datasets and translating financial information into meaningful insight
* Able to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate reporting to tight deadlines
* Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of financial reporting principles
* Confident communicator who can work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management
* Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset
* Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, evolving business environment
* Experience within telecoms, commercial finance or reporting environments would be beneficial but is not essential
