The role
As an Assistant Project Manager,you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be working to help manage the lead design consultant for a critical civils design package.
Day-to-day, you will manage the delivery security systems designs and work with users and other stakeholders to ensure that the integrated facility provides the sustainment capability. You’ll also:
* Work heavily with the contract – using NEC4 and CEMAR.
* Supporting the delivery of schedule, scope, contractual, financial and risk management functions.
* Assisting the technical and project team in development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work packages.
* Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control of work packages.
* Develop Stakeholder management and communications plans.
This role is full time working 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangement with some days in the office/onsite and some days working from home.
Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager
* Project management background
* Knowledge of Physical Security principles would be an advantage
* NEC4, CEMAR, Autodesk (CDE/Vault)
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Electrical engineering background preferred
Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager
* A Bachelors or Master’s Degree.
* APM an advantage

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
