Job Description
We have several exciting opportunities for project management professionals to join our expanding Real Estate team in Sheffield. Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value; depending on the complexity of the project, the normal upper limit is £40m in value. Where the service is advisory in nature, the overall project size may be much larger.
Responsibilities
 * Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery.
 * Act as the key, day‑to‑day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and appropriate quality standards.
Project management, to include:
 * Advising at a strategic level at project conception, including providing advice on different approaches to achieve the client’s overall objectives.
 * Establishing overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
 * Planning for and managing quality, safety, health and environmental issues.
 * Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems.
 * Planning, including ensuring the production of a detailed project plan.
 * Advising on procurement of resources.
 * Leading and facilitating the overall cross‑functional project team.
 * Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs.
 * Managing the change control process.
 * Monitoring and advising on project finances.
 * Managing information flow between the team and the client.
 * Ensuring production of formal project progress and other reports.
 * Leading interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Qualifications
 * Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (desirable).
 * Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects, ideally in a consultancy environment (essential).
