Vehicle Damage Assessor Needed in Manchester
1. Location: Manchester
2. Working Hours: Flexible start and finish times between 06:00 – 17:00
3. Salary: Basic salary up to £45,000 plus monthly bonus
Our client, one of the UK’s largest and most respected Accident Repair groups, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join their busy team. Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
4. Carry out detailed inspections of damaged vehicles
5. Accurately assess the extent of damage, repair costs, and timescales
6. Identify and document correct repair methods, using Audatex where required
7. Liaise with insurers to obtain repair authorisation at agreed costs
8. Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure repair methods are clearly understood
9. Maintain high technical and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
10. Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within a Bodyshop environment
11. ATA / IMI accreditation preferred
12. Audatex experience highly desirable
13. Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail
14. Full UK driving licence required
