<div><h3>Area Sales Manager – Hard Landscaping and Paving</h3><p>Industry sector: landscaping products, landscape consumables, sealants, garden products, hardscape, paving, epoxy grout, primers, sealers, stone cleaning products, stone enhancement products, builders merchants, landscaping distributors, garden centres, DIY outlets.</p><p>Area to be covered: M62 down to the south of Birmingham.</p><p>Base: Ideally Midlands.</p><p>Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 net + 10-15% bonus.</p><p>Benefits: EV and full benefits package.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>The role of the Area Sales Manager – Hard Landscaping and Paving will involve:</p><ul><li>Field sales role selling high quality manufactured and distributed hard landscaping products, such as landscaping consumables (sealers, primers, epoxy grout, jointing compounds, etc.).</li><li>Selling into approximately 200 distribution customers, predominantly builders merchants, landscaping distributors, DIY and gardening outlets.</li><li>Responsible for a £1m sales ledger.</li><li>Primarily account development; the client is already known within 85% of all potential customers.</li><li>4 days a week on the road, vesting customers, one day working from home/admin.</li><li>Customers ranging from £5,000 to £120,000 turnover.</li><li>Long‑term plan to add 3–4 new accounts per quarter once up and running.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Must have experience selling into distribution channels, ideally builders merchants, landscaping distributors, DIY and gardening outlets.</li><li>Open to learning about various building products; full product training will be provided.</li><li>Relationship builder.</li><li>Business savvy.</li><li>Prior experience of hard landscaping products or consumables not required.</li><li>Able to manage own patch and work autonomously.</li><li>Excellent communicator at all levels with resilient personality.</li><li>Hungry, driven and dynamic.</li></ul></div>
