Account Management & Growth Lead and manage relationships with key off-trade accounts (independent retailers, online grocers like Ocado, luxury food halls, and premium grocers). Build and deliver strategic Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with each major account. Develop tailored promotional and activation plans to drive volume and visibility. New Business Development Identify and onboard new retail partners, including high-end supermarkets and regional premium groups. Expand Boutique Brands’ footprint in national and regional chains. Support and prepare for major listing opportunities (e.g., Waitrose, Whole Foods, Amazon Retail). Commercial Strategy Own the P&L for the off-trade channel, ensuring profitability and growth targets are met. Forecast volumes and set annual targets in collaboration with MD and Operations. Track pricing, margins, and competitor activity to make informed decisions. Marketing & Activation Work closely with brand teams to deliver account-specific marketing campaigns. Ensure in-store and online brand execution is aligned with brand positioning. Coordinate tastings, seasonal promotions, and off-trade brand activations. Reporting & Collaboration Report monthly on account performance, forecasts, wins, and risks. Work cross-functionally with logistics, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution. Attend trade fairs, category reviews, and buyer presentations. Ideal Candidate
Minimum
3+ years of experience
in off-trade sales or account management in the drinks industry. Strong network across UK premium retail, online grocers, and independent trade. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Highly analytical and commercially savvy. Self-starter with entrepreneurial energy and a passion for premium spirits. Strong knowledge of the UK drinks industry, trends, and off-trade dynamics. What We Offer
