About the role
Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi is bilingual community school, with over students on roll, including a lively sixth form. We are seeking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dynamic team.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ learning across the school, providing both in-class assistance and targeted support where needed. You will help create a positive, inclusive environment that enables all learners to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities:
1. Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
2. Assisting pupils with additional learning needs
3. Helping to prepare resources and maintain an engaging learning environment
4. Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion

5. Is committed to supporting young people’s learning and wellbeing
6. Has good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Can work effectively as part of a team
The ability to speak, read and write in Welsh is desirable for this post.
