We are seeking a Volunteer Events Organiser to join our team at River Ivel Community Energy.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising events, including planning, booking venues, managing logistics and staff.
The goal of this role is to help people keep warm for less, understand energy bills, and learn about domestic renewable technology, ultimately contributing to a reduction in our carbon footprint and helping us reach Netzero goals.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who is organised, has great communication skills, is a problem solver, and is creative, with experience in event organisation.
Key Tasks
* Plan events from brief, including event type, venue, audience, objectives, and budget.
* Manage event delivery from start to finish, ensuring a superb experience for the audience.
