Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties
* Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
* Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
* Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
* Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
* Document care provided and report any concerns to the supervising healthcare professional.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
Experience
* Previous experience in care settings such as assisted living, carehome, or senior care is preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
* Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
* A valid driving licence is essential due to rural locations of service users.
* A compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others is essential.
