Finance Manager
Buntingford, Hertfordshire | Office-based | Free parking / Salary £65K - £75K plus benefits

I'm recruiting a Finance Manager for a brilliant, fast-growing business based in Buntingford. This is a company that's gone from a standing start to operating worldwide in just over a decade, and they're still expanding into new countries. So if you want genuine multi-entity, multi-currency exposure and the chance to grow as the business grows, this is a rare one.
What you'll be doing
• Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports
• Ensuring compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements and internal controls, including VAT returns and review of CT returns
• Managing cash flow, working capital and intercompany transactions
• Issuing quarterly transfer pricing invoices in line with group policy
• Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors and tax advisors
• Working across cross-functional teams in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America
• Providing financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
Requirements
What you'll need
• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Strong analytical and modelling skills with advanced Excel
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• UK-based with solid UK accounting experience and a stable work history

A note on location
Buntingford isn't on a train line, so you'll need to be a happy driver. It's an easy drive from Hertford, Ware, Stevenage, Royston, Bishop's Stortford and over towards Cambridge.

Requirements
• Professional qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / AAT) with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Part professional qualifications with at least 8 years of stable work experience gained in the UK. • Experience in financial management, reporting, and working with auditors. • Proven leadership experience in managing a small finance team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Directors and department heads. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in Xero (or similar systems)
