Job Description:
CK Group is recruiting for a Procurement Category Manager, Facilities Management, to join a growing research facility in Oxford on a permanent basis. This role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site per week.

The Role:
The successful candidate will oversee Hard and Soft FM services and related categories such as Laboratory Equipment and Services, ensuring strategic procurement and supplier management.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement category strategies for Facilities Management procurement, including M&E maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, workplace services, and minor construction works.
* Manage procurement for related subcategories, including Laboratory Equipment and technical services.
* Lead tendering, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract awards to ensure value, quality, and risk mitigation.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders like Facilities teams, Real Estate, Laboratory Managers, H&S, Finance, and Legal.
* Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify savings, improvements, innovation, and sustainability opportunities.
Your Background:
* Extensive procurement experience, especially in Facilities Management sourcing.
* Experience in procuring laboratory equipment and services within FM.
* Background in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
* Proven contract negotiation skills.
* BSc in Procurement, Facilities Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
* MCIPS qualification or working towards it.
