We are looking for an ambitious, driven people person, passionate about raisingvital fundsto support Cancer Research UK. As a Relationship Manager you will inspire and motivatea wide range ofsupporters(including individuals, groups, and corporate partners)to developstrongrelationships, maximising in-year fundraising opportunities andlong-termvalue.
We are looking for candidates from a business development or fundraising background who are excited to join our hard-working team in theSouth West.We’relooking for a natural people person, with excellent relationship building skills, confident in negotiating with and influencing a diverserangeof supporters. You’llbe used to managingmultiplepriorities and be adaptable in an environment where no two days are the same.

This is ahome-basedrole with significant travel across the patch to maximise community engagement. There will be some out of hours workingrequiredsuch as supportermeetings andevents, however you will get this time back via our time off in lieu policy.
What will I be doing?
1. Inspiring, developing and managing supporters to achieve their goals through offering outstanding and tailored stewardship.
2. Developing aprospect pipeline of opportunitiesandidentifyingand cultivatingleads.Aquiringnew supporters and income in collaboration with the Business Development team
3. Hitting fundraising targetsand KPIsfor CRUK's life saving research.
4. Supportingcreation and delivery of relevant strategies that build better and longer lasting relationships to increaselong-termincome
5. Building strong working relationships withwiderdepartmentteam colleaguestoeffectively developtransitioned supporters
What skills will I need?
6. Experience of working as part of a high performing team, achieving KPIs and targets
7. Experience of working unsupervised with the ability to drive and generate own workload
8. Excellent networking and relationship manager skills – and the ability to motivate and influence supporters or customers to reach targets.
9. Ability toadapt style and approach,generatenew ideasandtoacquirenew business.
10. A strong solution focused approach toenablesupporterstoovercome challenges and maximise theirfundraising.
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills (face to face, written and phone)
12. Great timemanagement,prioritisationand planning skills.
