This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to join an 'Outstanding' School in Lambeth as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant. Ribbons and Reeves work closely with the Head Teacher to ensure their new Psychology Graduate is utilised properly and given the training and development opportunities they need, tailored to their specific career goals. If you're a Psychology Graduate with compassion, resilience, and a passion for working with young people, this role offers invaluable hands-on experience that will help shape your future career. Why This Role is Ideal for a Psychology Graduate: Whether your goal is to become an Educational Psychologist, Wellbeing Practitioner, School Counsellor, or Teacher, this role offers Psychology Graduates the real-world exposure needed to build expertise and confidence. You’ll support students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Mental Health challenges. What You Gain: As a Psychology Graduate, you’ll gain: In-depth experience with Emotional Regulation, Resilience, and Learning strategies through targeted interventions and one-to-one support A strong CV for future Master's, PGCE, or Doctorate applications Exposure to multidisciplinary educational support by an experienced SENDCo and a wider team of graduate teaching assistants, many of whom progress into postgraduate study or teacher training. Job Details: £100 per day | £500 per week | PAYE September start 1-year contract with extension opportunities Minimum First-Class Psychology degree required (or closely related field) The Role: As a Psychology Graduate, you will: Be an inspiring, confident and dedicated individual with a strong background in English and Maths. Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver inclusive support and structured interventions focused on emotional wellbeing and behaviour. Monitor academic and behavioural progress.
