Offer description

At SUEZ, we act for what truly matters — for the environment, for society, and for the future. This is the place for people who want to make a real impact, not just watch from the sidelines. Join us and help drive positive change through innovative solutions that build a more resilient and sustainable world.

About The Role

1. You will be based at our Darwen Regional Office, Springfield House, Lower Eccleshill Road, Darwen, BB3 0RP.
2. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, start and finish times can be discussed at interview.
3. You will be earning £24,932, up to 3% bonus and SUEZ Benefits.

What will I be doing?

As the first point of contact for customers across your region, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive and seamless experience. Whether it’s supporting long‑standing clients or responding to new enquiries, you’ll help ensure every customer receives clear, timely and helpful information.

This entry‑level role is ideal for people looking to start or develop their career in customer service, operations or account management. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, contribute to meaningful improvement work, and help strengthen long‑term client relationships.
Your role will include:

4. Acting as the first point of call for both internal and external customer enquiries.
5. Setting up and creating customer contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Managing day‑to‑day queries, ensuring customers receive prompt support.
7. Recording and maintaining data on potential customer‑at‑risk churn, identifying emerging trends and supporting proactive solutions.

Throughout your work, you’ll collaborate with colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement, and help us deliver a high‑quality, customer‑centred service.

What are the requirements?

You’ll be a great fit if you bring:

8. Confidence managing your workload and meeting deadlines.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
10. Experience handling high‑volume or varied tasks, staying organised under pressure.
11. Familiarity with bespoke systems or databases (beneficial but not essential — full training provided).

If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process or in the workplace, we’re happy to support you, just let us know.

Who We Are

At SUEZ, your career is a journey full of possibilities. With diverse roles across multiple activities and locations, we empower you to shape your own path. Here, you’re encouraged to learn, grow, and take ownership of your development — because when you thrive, we all succeed.

At SUEZ, your work truly matters — driving action and shaping a more resilient, sustainable future.
