1:1 Tutor Required – Loughborough Area
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in the Loughborough area during school hours.
This role involves delivering personalised educational support either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting, helping young people to engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 tuition to pupils with varying needs and abilities
* Deliver engaging lessons aligned with individual learning plans and the UK curriculum
* Support pupils’ academic progress as well as confidence and wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals
* Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience within the UK curriculum
* Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Relevant qualifications (teaching, education, or subject-specific) are desirable
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS is required
* Must be registered on the DBS Update Service, or willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
