What is the role?
To support the Group Head of Partnership Homes and the Head of Partnership Homes South/North in delivering Persimmon Homes' Affordable Homes Proposition to the market. This includes negotiating and securing offers from Registered Providers for the disposal of Affordable Housing under s106 Planning Agreements.
You will assist with managing the forward programme of s106 sites to ensure the delivery of Affordable Home sales. Once offers are secured, you'll help convert these into legally binding Development Agreements for the delivery of affordable housing within target timescales.
Primary Responsibilities
* Assist in issuing RP tenders to meet deadlines.
* Research local authority affordable housing policies and summarize findings for negotiations.
* Gather necessary information to facilitate contract progress.
* Build relationships with Local Authority Housing Enablers and Registered Providers.
* Review site layouts and agreements related to Affordable Housing.
* Participate in internal training programs.
* Support senior team members in stakeholder engagement.
* Travel as required for meetings with stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
* Good numeracy skills and qualification in a numeracy-requiring subject.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Self-motivated with good time management.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail and analytical ability.
* Valid driving license and access to a car.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* High integrity and professionalism.
