What will you be doing:
Working in a cross-functional and collaborative capacity, the purpose of the role is to achieve significant improvements in the management of In-field transfers for high-demand Orthopaedics items in the field. Collaborating across Sales and Marketing, as well as working closely with the relevant Operations teams in Warehouse, Customer Service & Consignment, will be important to deliver the maximum potential efficiency gains in this role.
The Commercial Asset Manager will be part of the Sales Team & support the Orthopaedics growth strategy and our strive to be the best company to work with. You will become a key part of our differentiated service offering to key customers and will help with crafting the strategic direction of contracts and logistical offerings across the UKI.

What will success look like:
1. You'll collaborate with customer service, warehouse, our local commercial teams & customers to complete relevant actions & processes in order to ensure in-field transfer of critical Orthopaedic equipment to meet required timings for surgery.
2. Complete the return of identified & approved underperforming inventory within the field to support with delivering the greatest return on investment of our assets.
3. Participate in Orthopaedic equipment learning to develop ongoing equipment knowledge to enable individual to identify critical items crucial for surgery.
4. Communicate on a frequent basis with Orthopaedic leadership team to facilitate the required business critical equipment movements.
5. Collaborating closely with consignment team, local commercial team members and customer to conduct annual audits for key segmented accounts.
6. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with Orthopaedic Sales Directors and our Operations Team on progress made over past quarter, planned activity for next quarter & identified areas for improvement moving forward
7. Take a leading role in the development and future implementation of digital customer tools to support Orthopaedic Inventory
What you will need to be successful:
8. BSc (Hons)/Diploma or equivalent experience.
9. Full Clean Driving License.
10. Experience in a cross-functionally capacity (ideally within a medical equipment company) and communicating at different levels within a matrix organisation is important.
11. Experience working with systems such as SAP and MyMediset preferred
12. Experience in sophisticated data analysis and interpretation skills.
13. Prior experience of working independently to lead your own workload and work without supervision.
