An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and committed practitioner to join the Bristol Children's Safeguarding team as a Band 7 Specialist Nurse for Safeguarding Children. This role is for 37.5 hours a week.
This is a varied role that includes safeguarding supervision and support, delivering integrated safeguarding training, involvement in Child Protection strategies, and contributions to MASH and MARAC. We work in partnership with Sirona practitioners to provide safeguarding services to children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate and embed reflective and restorative supervision for staff, fostering a safeguarding culture.
2. Provide line management, supervision, and support to team members, including 1:1s, PDRs, and staff well-being.
3. Participate in multiagency safeguarding meetings such as MARAC.
4. Represent Sirona Health in child protection strategy discussions within delegated frameworks.
5. Contribute to complex strategy discussions related to exploitation.
6. Oversee delegation of work within the Single Point of Access Team.
7. Represent Sirona at multi-agency strategic groups, including quality assurance and safeguarding arrangements.
8. Develop and oversee chronologies related to child review procedures like Rapid Reviews and Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews.
9. Contribute to the development and delivery of the Sirona Safeguarding Training Plan.
10. Embed a Think Family approach into all safeguarding activities and organizational culture.
11. Coordinate activities within the SPA through the duty role.
