THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic oversight and operational responsibility.
* Lead and develop a small finance team
* Oversee management reporting, budgeting, audit, payroll, and grants
* Drive process improvements and system efficiencies
* Partner with budget holders to improve financial literacy
* Contribute to strategic planning and organisational growth
* Deputise for the Director of Finance & Corporate Services
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You'll be a qualified or experienced finance professional with a passion for purpose-driven work.
Mandatory:
* CCAB qualification or equivalent experience
* Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
* Experience managing teams and improving processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred:
* Charity or third sector experience
* Sage 50 familiarity
* Knowledge of VAT legislation
* Experience in grants or impact reporting
