As a Principal Fire Engineer in the Manchester office, you will play a key role in leading high-profile projects, mentoring a talented engineering team, and driving technical innovation. The Role of the Principal Fire Engineer
* Lead the delivery of fire engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.
* Provide strategic and technical advice to clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
* Manage and mentor engineers at various levels, supporting their professional growth and development.
* Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance processes.
* Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal writing.
About the Principal Fire Engineer
* Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
* Significant experience in fire engineering, ideally with Chartered status (CEng/MIFireE).
* Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage client relationships.
* Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, standards, and design codes.
* A collaborative leader with a passion for innovation and technical excellence.
