Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading pump manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide mechanical and electrical repair, service, maintenance and commissioning on pump stations and associated products at customer sites across the South of the UK – London and surrounding areas. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a Field Service background with mechanical and/or electrical engineering products such as pumps, pump stations, fluid power, generators or similar mechanical engineering products.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Role
To provide mechanical and electrical repair, service, commissioning and maintenance of pumps stations at customer sites across London and surrounding areas.
The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics and fault finding on pump stations, monitoring alarm systems and associated products.
Maintain, repair and install various pump stations and monitoring alarm systems in a wide variety of domestic and commercial sites.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump systems.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Home-based, commutable to London and surrounding areas or willing to relocate.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on mechanical / electrical engineering products.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Pumps Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
Field Service background with pumps, pump stations, fluid power, compressors, generators or similar mechanical engineering products.
The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of 3-phase motors, 3-phase electrics or 3-phase controls would be advantageous.
A technical mechanical / electrical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
Electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar, BS7671 18th Edition and ECS gold card) are advantageous.
Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota.
Full UK driving license, willingness to travel to London and surrounding areas
