We’re looking for a hands‑on Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our York‑based IT team at an exciting time of growth and transformation.
You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team supporting both UK & US operations. There’s no rigid 1st/2nd/3rd line structure here, everyone gets involved, everyone handles tickets, and everyone contributes to projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting and developing Azure infrastructure (Entra ID, VMs, M365, Conditional Access)
* Working across both cloud and on‑prem environments (currently hybrid)
* Managing networking infrastructure including switches and firewalls
* Handling support tickets alongside the team
* Acting as an escalation point for complex issues
* Supporting starter/leaver processes and core IT operations
* Running basic SQL queries when required
* Contributing to infrastructure modernisation and global growth projects
* Providing occasional out‑of‑hours support when needed
What We’re Looking For
* Solid Azure experience (Entra ID, Conditional Access, VMs, M365)
* Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
* Strong Windows Server knowledge
* Good networking fundamentals (switches, firewalls, connectivity)
* Experience managing and resolving technical tickets
* Basic SQL query experience
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong work ethic and collaborative approach
