An integral role in providing first class service to clients encompassing all aspects of a client journey within Arbuthnot Latham. This role provides excellent administrative support to Private and Commercial Bankers. To place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules. Key Responsibilites Accurate input and checking of data for clearing and regular payment items such standing instructions and direct debits Banking and processing of cheques Processing of refunds and fees Responsible for preparing client cash requests and cash management Supporting client requests for external cashing facilities Errors & Complaints are investigated, root causes found, and action taken to ensure not repeated Ensuring all procedures are followed and documented procedures are kept up to date Investigating in a timely manner all queries and outstanding reconciliation People: Actively help and support colleagues within the immediate team. Facilitate training as needed to ensure that all staff are adequately trained to perform their job functions. Proactively seek business overviews, cross training, coaching or mentoring that will either enhance your deliverables to the end client and/or your own progression within Arbuthnot Latham Key Interfaces: Work closely with Private / Commercial Banking Assistants and Banking Executives. Interaction with external 3rd party providers. Person Specification Essential knowledge/Experience Payment experience desired Knowledge of Banking processes desired Understanding of the ICS portal and processes Skills High competency of Outlook, Microsoft Office & Excel Proven ability to transfer data accurately Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with clients, providers and senior management coupled with a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion Team working- it is essential that all staff members have a strong team player focus Effective written and oral communication skills. Communication via Phone and E-Mail on a daily basis with internal clients. Excellent attention to detail, and able to manage multiple tasks in a regularly changing environment High level of professionalism and teamwork.
