Job Title: Group Supply Chain Planner
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
We are currently recruiting for a Group Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic, growing SME with an international footprint. The supply chain is entering an exciting phase of development and transformation.
The business operates globally with international suppliers and contract manufacturers, requiring someone with experience, resilience, and a collaborative approach to drive change.
Role Summary:
This is a great opportunity to take on a broad supply chain role within a growing international SME. As Group Supply Chain Planner, you will act as the key link between global commercial teams and the supply chain hub in Asia—driving alignment, improving performance, and supporting supply chain transformation for future growth.
You will be involved in strengthening end-to-end supply chain processes, supporting new ERP implementation, and enabling scalable ways of working across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead demand, supply, and inventory planning
* Implement forecasting and inventory processes (MTS & MTO)
* Collaborate across commercial, supply, finance, and innovation teams
* Support new product launches and lifecycle transitions
* Enhance planning systems, data integrity, and reporting/KPI's
* Identify risks, propose solutions, and challenge the status quo
Ideal Candidate:
3-5 years in supply chain, demand, or inventory planning
Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments
Experience with international supply chains, CMOs, and freight (preferred)
Strong collaborator with the ability to build alignment and drive improvements
Hands-on, analytical, and adaptable to evolving processes
Experience with ERP systems (implementation or usage) is advantageous
Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to strategic decisions
