Key Responsibilities:
In this Reservations Manager position, you'll take ownership of the reservations function and lead from the front:
Oversee the full reservations process, from enquiry handling to confirmation and issue resolution
Manage all bookings across direct and third-party channels, ensuring accurate availability and preventing overbookings
Efficiently manage OTAs to drive occupancy and performance within Glasgow
Implement pricing and selling strategies across all market segments, working closely with Commercial and Sales teams
Lead, recruit and train the reservations team, including rota planning and shift management
Conduct appointments and show-rounds for prospective clients, supporting revenue opportunities
Apply commercial judgement, considering total revenue, lifetime value and displacement when assessing enquiries
Ensure full compliance with hotel policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
To succeed as a Reservations Manager, you'll bring:
Proven experience in a busy hotel Reservations environment
Background within a branded hotel group would be advantageous
Strong communication and customer service skills
Confidence analysing market data and competitor performance
The ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
Strong PMS knowledge and a solid understanding of revenue management
