About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers to work with schools and specialist provisions across Chester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SEN professionals, or passionate teachers looking to specialise, to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities, helping them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
* Support pupils on EHCPs and contribute to target setting and progress reviews
* Create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies
* Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies where required
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN (school or specialist setting)
