We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Performing Arts Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Liverpool (L7) for a long-term cover position. The school has been rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted — Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, and Leadership & Management — and is proud of its inclusive, supportive environment where the arts play a central role in school life.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Drama and Performing Arts across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to explore their creativity, develop confidence, and achieve their potential both on and off the stage.
Your Role:
✨ Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Performing Arts lessons
✨ Foster creativity, collaboration, and self-expression in every student
✨ Support school productions and extracurricular performance opportunities
✨ Work collaboratively within a dynamic and creative department
We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts at KS3 & KS4
✅ Passion for the arts and inspiring young performers
✅ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
