We have an exciting opportunity to join a Family Hub Team within Nottinghamshire. This is a great time to join our team as locally we are transforming our Children's Centre Service into Family Hub Networks. Our work with children 0-5 years remains part of our core offer and we will be expanding our service offer to 0-19 years.
This is a Fixed term position, based at Ashfield North Family Hubs.
You will be able to undertake one-to-one work with parents/carers to meet identified needs and deliver evidence-based programmes, within Family Hubs and family homes.
You must have a minimum of two years' experience of working with children 0-5 and their families, an NVQ 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) with experience, be a driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge in the following areas:
* Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
* Knowledge of child development and awareness of the importance of early attachments
* The importance of early intervention when working with families
* Working in diverse communities and the ability to work in a non-discriminatory way.
* Working in partnership with a range of agencies
* Communication skills, report writing, assessment skills, record keeping and IT skills.
