Cycle Hire Hub Assistant

The Role
We are looking for a Cycle Hire Hub Assistant to work across our Cycle Hire hubs in Ashbourne and Parsley Hay.
The role will
- Process bike hire bookings, repairs, services, sales, and customer queries efficiently.
- Help the team reach income targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintain all aspects of hiring cycles and equipment including maintenance, cleaning, safety checks, bookings (inc web bookings), service history and collection of cycles in line with operational procedures.
- Support Welcome Volunteers in promoting national park messages and meeting fundraising objectives.

Working hours
The post is an annualised contract working 1,264 hours per year during the Cycle Hire Season (the equivalent of 35 hours per week during the season). The Cycle Hire season is late Feb to early November each year. The working hours will include weekends and bank holidays. More hours will be worked in busy periods e.g. school holidays.
