Rochester Cathedral seeks a Learning Manager. Hours: The role is permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week. Job share would be considered. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to work as a Learning Manager for Rochester Cathedral. The Learning Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering learning activities that enhance the Cathedral’s heritage while respecting its sacred purpose. Working within a busy and collaborative team, the postholder will ensure learning activities are properly delivered and align with the Cathedral’s mission. This role involves line-managing teams of casual Learning Assistants and volunteer Guides. The post-holder will increase awareness of the Cathedral’s heritage through the development and delivery of high-quality learning programmes for schools, visiting groups, and adult learners, activities for families, children, and young people, and guided tours, and generate income from such educational activities. All Cathedral employees are expected to work as a team to ensure the Cathedral fulfils its mission. An Enhanced with Barred List(s) DBS check is required for this post.
