Senior Structural Engineer
An established and highly respected UK structural engineering consultancy based in Bracknell is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, refurbishment, and mixed-use developments, delivering practical, efficient, and buildable design solutions across a wide range of projects.
The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
Lead and deliver structural design on a variety of building projects
Manage projects from concept through to construction
Produce and review detailed structural calculations and drawings
Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers
Contribute to value engineering and practical design solutions
Attend design and site meetings as required
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
Chartered status (ICE or IStructE) or working towards chartership
Strong UK consultancy experience (typically 5+ years)
Experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and ideally refurbishment projects
Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
