What Is the role of a Cash in Transit Officer?
Are you looking for your next exciting role? If so, NCR Atleos has the perfect opportunity for you! As a Cash in Transit Officer, you will contribute to the safe and secure movement of cash and valuables between locations to enable service delivery while ensuring any business risk is mitigated.
What will I be doing as a Cash in Transit Officer?
No two days are the same. You may be the driver one day and the courier the next. You may work alone or with a partner depending on your duties. You will be expected to embody our core values of Accountability, Collaboration, and Innovation.
Your responsibilities include servicing ATM machines by ensuring the secure transportation and deployment of monies, following company processes, completing documentation, and driving company vehicles responsibly in line with health and safety regulations. You will also maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
What would I need to succeed in this role?
Candidates should be enthusiastic, security-conscious, trustworthy, responsible, and methodical. Requirements include a 10-year employment or education history, a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points, and flexibility to work 4/5 days over 7. Holding a valid SIA CIT license is desirable but can be obtained through our funded training. Strong interpersonal skills, security awareness, and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines are essential.
Due to the secure nature of the business, successful candidates will need to pass a criminal record and credit check, provide a 10-year work or education history, and declare any adverse history.
Benefits
£34,556.62 annual salary, paid overtime, 45-hour weekly contract, flexible working patterns, shift times between 4:20 am – 8 pm, and alternative weekends.
