Quality Engineer - Wrexham

Due to significant site growth driven by long term customer contracts, a rare opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Quality Engineer forming part of the team that ensures technical compliance and drives continuous improvement activity, with involvement in quality problem solving, preparing quality documentation and internal/supplier auditing as required. This role will involve direct representation of the business to a diverse aerospace customer base, and the day-to-day management of non-conformances through the company QMS utilising a range of software.
Key skills
1. Ideally educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in engineering or science based discipline
2. Experienced in a manufacturing setting as a quality engineer or process engineer
3. Demonstrable experience with quality and data analysis tools such as 8D, FMEA, APQP, Pareto, SPC, CpK, Six Sigma, root cause analysis
4. Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP desirable
