What You’ll Do At Work
* Install, commission, and maintain electronic systems designed to protect people, properties, and assets.
* Learn about fire detection, intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control solutions.
* Travel in a company van to a variety of sites, including residential, commercial, and retail locations.
* Collaborate with a team to gain experience and progress toward becoming a qualified fire and security engineer.
Where You’ll Work
The apprentice will primarily travel within the Aberdeen region, with potential travel across the South Scotland Region depending on job requirements. The role involves substantial travel. Location: Altec Centre, Minto Drive, Altens Industrial Estate, Aberdeen. AB12 3LW.
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or training organisation. At least 20% of working hours are spent training or studying.

Level 6 Electronic Fire and Security Qualification.
Your Training Plan
Enrol in a Level 6 Electronic Fire and Security Qualification delivered by New College Lanarkshire alongside fellow Johnson Controls apprentices. Engage in day release training and receive on-the-job guidance from experienced mentors and engineers.
Requirements / Essential Qualifications
* National Grade 5 in English essential.
* National Grade 5 in Maths essential.
* Full Driving Licence essential.

What We’re Offering
Salary: £15,705 plus benefits. Competitive basic salary with additional earning potential and a company pension. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Company vehicle, uniform, PPE, and ongoing training. Overtime and travel time pay.
