Main duties of the job
All patient contacts are triaged by experienced clinicians using AccuRx to ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate specialist.
You will manage the workload and deal with a widerange of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standardsof care for all registered patients. You will be part of amulti-disciplinary team and be involved in practice meetings, learningdevelopment and take an interest in the future development of the practice.

We have recently undergone very positivechanges, including implementing BMA Safe Working Guidance and investingsignificantly in our team. We aim to continue progressing as an innovative andsupportive practice.
On site parking available, BMA model 15 minute appointments, low administrative workload due to effective systems (including Abtrace support, Full-time pharmacist and pharmacy team support and referrals team). Dedicated paramedic/CMT home visiting service, EMIS clinical system.
We have a dedicated administration team reducing letters, CQC rated Good on all indicators and support for your professional development.

The Role
The successful candidate will deliver the full range of general practiceservices, providing high-quality primary medical care through a balanced mix offace-to-face and telephone consultations within a practice-based model.
The role includes participation in the Duty GP rota for one day perweek, delivered within a structured and supportive framework.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GMC registration with a licence to practice;
* Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List;
* Specialist knowledge acquired through post-graduate diploma level or equivalent training/experience.
Experience
* In depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge and understanding of the principles of evidence based healthcare;
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Able to plan, manage, monitor, advise and review general medicine optimisation issues in core areas for long term conditions;
* Able to obtain and analyse complex technical information;
* Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care;
* Recognise priorities when problem solving and indentify deviations from the normal pattern and when referrals to specialists necessary;
* Able to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
* Willingness to participate in Duty GP responsibilities;
* Experience of working in a UK GP Practice;
* Experience of working in primary care
