Neos Engineering are partnered with a leading, internationally recognised manufacturer of heavy equipment to recruit an experienced After Sales Supervisor to join their team in Biggleswade.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to supervise and coordinate a team of Field Service Engineers, ensuring an exceptional after sales experience for valued customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing daily workload, timesheets, and job progress of engineers.
* Maintaining clear and regular communication with customers regarding service updates.
* Providing technical and safety-related support, including occasional site visits.
* Liaising with internal departments to resolve technical challenges and arrange spare parts.
* Organising logistics, subcontractors, and tools to meet service demands efficiently.
* Ensuring accurate processing of invoices and warranty claims.
* Monitoring and controlling work in progress to achieve KPI targets.
* Delivering toolbox talks and managing team appraisals and reviews.
* Keeping up to date with technical training and product developments.
* Supporting wider branch operations during staff absences as required.
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced and motivated supervisor with:
* Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire a field-based engineering team.
* Solid technical understanding of heavy equipment or similar machinery.
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
* Commitment to Health & Safety and quality compliance.
* Confidence to coordinate resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to travel when needed to support engineers and other branches.
