Overview
A Vacancy at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Join our friendly and supportive Community Rehabilitation and Falls Service as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference.
You’ll be working at the heart of our South London communities, supporting adults to live safely, independently, and confidently in their own homes. Whether you’re helping someone practice daily tasks after a fall, set up equipment to make life easier, or build strength and confidence through meaningful activities, your work will have a lasting impact.
This is a hands-on and varied role, perfect if you enjoy meeting people, problem-solving, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You’ll visit clients across Brixton, Streatham, Oval, Peckham, and Dulwich, supporting them with their rehabilitation and helping them achieve goals that matter most to them.
You’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, gaining valuable experience in assessment, equipment provision, and rehabilitation programmes. We’ll support you every step of the way with supervision, training, and development opportunities to help you progress in your OTA career.
At Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, you’ll also benefit from our award-winning “Showing We Care About You” programme, which offers support for your wellbeing, career growth, and work-life balance.
If you’re caring, motivated, and passionate about helping others live more independent lives, we’d love to hear from you.
