Salary: £12,000 - £13,000 per session (depending on experience)
Sessions: 6 per week

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Salaried GP to join our team for 6 sessions per week.
The role offers a balanced clinical workload supported by our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS), which manages triage and same‑day demand, allowing GPs to focus on delivering high‑quality planned and ongoing care.
You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team with access to a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical resources.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
* Deliver face‑to‑face, telephone, and digital consultations
* Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
* Undertake home visits where appropriate
* Prescribe safely in line with local and national guidance
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
* Refer patients appropriately to secondary and community services
Practice & Team Contribution
* Work collaboratively within our large multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to quality improvement, audit, and clinical governance
* Engage with practice development and service transformation
* Support a culture of continuous learning and improvement
* Clinical supervision of other health care professionals and trainees
Our Model of Care
* We operate a Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) which provides triage, advice, and same‑day bookings
* This significantly reduces pressure on individual GPs and improves patient flow
* We also deliver services across GP Care Wakefield (GPCW), providing extended access care across the ICB footprint
* Our structure allows GPs to work in a modern, supported environment rather than traditional reactive models

Qualifications
* Person Specification (Summary)
* GMC registered GP with licence to practice
* Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
* Strong clinical and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Experience in large practices or multidisciplinary models
* Interest in service development or system working
