Accounts Assistant (Strong Payroll Experience Required) Holywell £30,000 – £35,000 Full-time | Office-based This is not a trainee accounts role. We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant with strong payroll experience to join a small, hands-on finance team near Holywell. While the role is varied, payroll is the priority, so confidence running payroll end-to-end is essential. This would suit someone who enjoys being involved in a bit of everything, but is particularly comfortable owning payroll responsibilities. Key responsibilities: * Running payroll from start to finish * Managing payroll queries, pensions and submissions * Processing starters and leavers * Purchase and sales ledger * Bank reconciliations * Supporting month-end processes * General finance administration What we’re looking for: * Proven payroll experience (non-negotiable) * Comfortable working independently in a small team * Sage Payroll or similar experience * Strong attention to detail * Happy working fully office-based near Holywell * Construction experience is helpful but not essential.
