* 14‑month interim assignment with a solid handover
* 60/40 management-to-clinical split (clinical time mainly for visibility/support)
* Monday‑Friday
What theyre looking for:
* Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience as an Inpatient Unit Manager, Band 7, or Team Lead
* Strong people leadership, morale‑building, and performance management skills
* Supportive, emotionally intelligent, able to lead change during a period of service review and organisational transition
* Confident in managing sickness/absence, incidents, complaints, and general team performance
Key Priorities in the Role:
* Lead the inpatient team through an ongoing major service review
* Improve attendance, performance, and team culture
* Support staff through a site relocation
* Maintain high‑quality, patient‑centred care across the unit
