Blue Arrow is looking for a Temp to Perm Transport Supervisor to work with one of the leading haulage companies in the UK.
Job Role
* Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations
* Work closely with the on-site customer ensuring all operational requirements are met.
* Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge noncompliance.
* Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner
* Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner
* Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations, as necessary.
What you need
* Good administrative skills
* Have a positive attitude
* Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
* Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
* A background in Transport
* Willing to learn
Rotating Shift Pattern
Wk1 - Mon-Fri 06:00-14:30 (30 min unpaid lunch)
Wk2 - Mon -Thurs 13:30 - 22:00 Friday 11:30-20:00 (30 min unpaid lunch)
Pay Ra-tee £14.10
