Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC machinery to produce precision components. This role requires proficiency in various fabrication techniques, including milling and welding, as well as familiarity with CAD software and programmable logic controllers.
Responsibilities
* Operate CNC machines to fabricate components according to specifications
* Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production
* Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes
* Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Perform quality checks on finished products using basic math and measurement tools
* Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency
* Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process
* Assist in assembly tasks as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards
Experience
* Proven experience in CNC operation or similar roles within a manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD software for design interpretation
* Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous
* Experience with hand tools, materials handling, and tooling setups
* Background in fabrication techniques such as milling and welding is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
