Mission
We are a leading EDI Technical Solutions Company based in brand new state of the art offices in Chorley, right next to Buckshaw Parkway train station. Part of a wider European group, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Front End Angular UI Developer on a hybrid basis.
The role will see youbring user facing assets to life for a new major SaaS ERP solution. You will be working from specification to deployment and beyond. This is an opportunity to join a fresh team, on a fresh specification. You will understand and connect to existing technical assets and very well planned architecture through an already in place teams of DevOps and software professionals. Ideally you will have over 5 years’ experience bringing slick and purposeful B2B dashboards and their supporting UI assets to life and be a talented interface designer that understands that less is more for the busy corporate users your product is serving. You will love smart UX and respect CX principles with a craving to always improve your users experience.
Profile
Experience
1. 5+years experience developing front end solutions in any JavaScript-based web framework.
2. A minimum of 2 demonstratable years working specifically within Angular UI and AngularJS framework.
3. A strong and demonstrable track record building web-based software as a service B2B technology products.
4. Any background with C# would be a big plus.
5. High confidence working at pace within pre planned roadmaps that have clear and critical deadline for you to deliver your work against.
6. Comfortable working within a scrum sprint based delivery methodology, daily scrums, transparent working practices require consistent contact during the working day.
7. Equally organised and comfortable taking a customer centric agile approach where required.
8. Very comfortable in Jira planning and workflow.
9. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
10. A demonstratable ability to follow instruction and build solutions that meet customer and wider stakeholder needs.
11. Ability to work independently and remotely while retaining a contactable comms status on Slack and email during the businesses working hours.
Desirable
12. Exposure or a contextual business understanding of supply chain and warehousing.

13. A minimum of a university issued bachelor's degree in software development or computer programming.

It’s a bright, light space with a great break out area by the (well stocked) kitchen for relaxing with table tennis, a pool table, Sky TV and an Xbox games console.It's a calm, friendly and professional environment, with a casual dress code. Leyland is famous as once being the home of one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the UK; British Leyland – probably best known for their trucks and buses. There are several retail parks and leisure centres, the town centre also has a thriving market along with a mix of independent and well known chain stores. Leyland has great access to road links to Preston, Blackpool and Chorley, as well as the M6 and M58 if heading to Manchester, Liverpool or north towards Lancaster and The Lakes.
