Job description
The job is performed mainly out on farms and in Clonmore Yard and involves carrying out a physically active role. The employee is required to operate effectively as part of a team. Time may be spent driving from farm to farm in a shared vehicle.
The Supervisor works as a member of a team within Moygashel Depot, reporting to the manager. Effective liaison, team working and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff is essential.
The supervisor must encourage and support the teams and deal with problems as he sees fit, and submit a weekly report to management on the performance of the team. This is all essential to maintain communication within the organisation. He should support management in the running of an efficient department, and show a good example to other employees.
All supervisors are expected to carry out the below duties in addition to those that are carried out by an operative, as a supervisor of your area you are entrusted with the additional responsibility of the below outlined duties.
1. Ensure operational efficiency in Clonmore Stores area of management.
2. Maintaining the Moy Park standards and policies.
3. Liaise with other supervisors, suppliers and management.
4. Maintain an awareness of customer needs and requirements
5. Monitoring the usage of chemicals
6. Dismantle machinery before cleaning and rebuild after cleaning
7. Maintaining hygiene standards.
8. Highlight any problems with machinery to the maintenance team and manager.

11. Flock Health Status MonitoringOrganising and scheduling of health, blood and salmonella testing, programme of vaccination*Logging of samples on IT system.Ensuring Salmonella, health and blood tests have been carried out and sent to the appropriate laboratoryFollowing on from all organisation, scheduling and testing of health, blood and salmonella tests that all reports are circulated to the relevant farms as necessary
12. Occasional Fumigation duties as and when required, if trained to do so. (see Attached Job Description).
13. Supervisory duties will be required to cover in managers/ other supervisors absence.
14. Ensuring all staff adhere to rules and standards as issued.
15. Assisting with store duties and deliveries as required by the Manager.
16. Any other duties, that may be required by the Manager, to ensure efficient running of the site
