Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. We’re proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work withScottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme.

What will you be doing?

You'll lead the integrated projects team to safely deliver the portfolio of project in line with Scottish Water and CWA expectations, effectively and visible leader for the programme. You'll monitor/review and deliver commercial expectations and quality standards, while championing health and safety. You'll play a role in sustaining reduction in delivery costs, while still ensuring we allign with Scottish Water vison through the contract.

As the Operations manager you'll help to build and develop and maintain a relationship with Scottish Water senior team successfully delivering performance management, building skills and sustaining the team and the support programme.

What you’ll bring

* Previous experience at senior project management level in a similar environment is essential
* You will be able to demonstrate your experience of delivering large portfolios of projects, ideally to an annual value of up to £25M
* Knowledge of the water, construction or utilities industry is essential
* Outstanding leadership qualities required
* Valid UK driving license
